This isn't a book but I thought some of you might be interested in this fun product available from Amazon ISBN 978-0735351158
Andy Warhol said "Art is what you can get away with" and since his death in 1987, the value of his art has increased to over three hundred million dollars. That means I'm very unlikely to own any of it which is why I settled for these fun Brillo blocks. The box has seven white and one yellow block, each 1.75 inches square and weighing 96 grams. Perhaps not quite like the 1964 originals though because the one in the MoMA collection is 17 by 17 by 14 inches but he produced lots of them, silk screened on plywood, so maybe some were square.
You can create your own Brillo installations and like the originals, if you keep them long enough, they could increase in value (so don't throw the box away).
